Tasting Notes | |
Oliver Klimek | Colour: Dark amber - Nose: Very strong, prunes in Armagnac, tropical fruit, a faint hint of tobacco. - Palate: Prunes, tea, hints of banana and pineapple, nutmeg, oak tannins. - Finish: Very long, dry and fruity. - Overall: The terrific sherry nose is almost matched by the very complex palate. But 43% ABV just a little too weak fo this malt. Rather dry but not overly woody for its high age. |
