| Tasting Notes |
| Robert Karlsson | Dry, yet sweet somehow. Some eucalyptus, toothpaste?, in there also. Tastewise it's dryer than sweet. Disappointingly short however.. and a bit too laid-back? |
| Rich Howard | restrained notes of zesty lemon with lightly buttered crust (almost a lemon tart), fresh pear, plenty of floral notes (lily?) and plenty of spice. much more herbal with water, almost a cough drop, and the lemon becomes more astringent, almost a lemon detergent (but not in a bad way, again very restrained...), and the general fruitiness is greatly lessened. the finish remains spicy and dry. | Oliver Klimek | Colour: Pale straw -
Nose: Pears, peaches, caramel, honey and a hint of hazelnuts -
Palate: Peaches, lemon zest, nuts, dry tea, a bit of black pepper and chili. -
Finish: Long and dry with a tiny bit of barrel char. -
Overall: A pretty dry and spicy malt with a slight fruity touch. I'd have preferred a little less spice, though. |
