Tasting Notes
Robert KarlssonIntense (strong?), on raisin, figs. Tastewise full of those dried fruits. And also sourly notes, and the aftertaste develops heavily and completely on raisin. Not bad, intense and dominant. A real sherry-Shrek. With time it rounds off and is it sulphury notes that appear? Hm, dont wait too long with this one!
Krishna Nukalasea brine on nose, strong bacon, excellent full bodied, mildly dry sweetish, salty organics. Whisky with excellent quality. lots of organics towards the finish (MMA 2010 blind tasting)
Rich Howarddusky and heavy, with loads of the darker fruits, warm caramel and plum, blackcurrant, ginger and quite some rubber, which is oddly not intrusive... the malt is heavy enough to handle it. the palate offers raisins, blackcurrant, and even more rubber. almost too much, but never quite crosses the line. a very big taste with this one, and a very big reward... [tasted blind for the 2010 Awards]
