Tasting Notes
Robert KarlssonA nose full of dried fruits. Really dry.. and there is some smoke too, and tar. Also special sourly notes. Rather special. Mmm, the taste is heavy with the dried fruits, the smoke and also some gunpowder of the great spicy kind. This is a very good one indeed.
Rich Howarda very pleasant nose, quite complex, brimming with pinor noir, limes, milk chocolate, oatmeal cookies (no raisins), corn flakes, saled peanuts and just a hint of cherry juice. (if that doesn't seem to make sense all together... it does.) the palate is robust and inviting with red fruits, oatmeal, peanut brittle, cinnamon and a touch of spearmint. water greatly sweetens the red and purple fruits on the nose and palate. might be too sweet for some, but it never got cloying for me, and i think it makes for an excellent "dessert dram". [tasted blind for the 2010 Awards]
