Tasting Notes |
Robert Karlsson | This is a seriously scizophrenic whisky. At first nosing it had a rather splendid dry leathery tarry nose. But with a little time it transformed into that classic viol FWP-monster that these sometimes can be. (Unfortunately) it was very obvious this was one of those "legendary" Bowmores even though it was tasted full-blind.. the taste is in full balance with the soapy nose. Viol pastilles, salmiac, some smoke, tar etc. But if slammed down without granting it time to "develop" I'm sure it'd pass down without any qualms whatsoever. So please, do not wait if this one is to be tasted. |
