Tasting Notes
Craig DanielsColour: medium dark amber with orange highlights Nose: Toffee, roasted nuts, soft fruits, marzipan, smoked sultanas. Palate: Peanut brittle, roasted hazelnuts, toffee, some wine character (red berry fruits). Finish: burnt nuts and bitter herbs. Porty characters reprise in the aftertaste. Comments; rare to see an Australian whisky of this age. Too many bitter and burnt notes to score higher.
