Tasting Notes | |
Robert Karlsson | Straight-foward orangey sweetness. With added spices. Nice rounded-off sweet-toothy taste. The spices gets there in the aftertaste. Well-balanced I'd say, with a slightly grainy aftertaste. |
Rich Howard | deep rich fruits on the nose, trending towards the slightly sour (cherry perhaps more than raisin) and woody, but not in a bad way. also a hint of lemon, stewed apples, with some vanilla in the background to tie it all together. the palate is rich with tangy fruit punch, plenty of lemon and plenty of wood. water adds an expected layer of vanilla and cream to the nose, quite nice now, the slight sourness almost a memory, and the palate is mellower but still with lovely sweet fruits. summary: flavorful and well-integrated. works well with and without water.
