Tasting Notes
Keith WoodGlass. Copita - Colour: Teak, dark amber - Nose: Lots of trtaditional wax furniture polish and aged oak over red wine and cherries. Also a light spiciness and suggestion of more tropical fruit in the background. - Palate: Silky smooth and quite unusually everything is initially concentrated solely on the roof of the palate. This includes chocolate, nuts and more light spiciness. - Finish: Long and silky. - Overall Impression: A very interesting whisky with lots of fruitiness and spices, albeit in a quite light way. Excellent, almost a "Great" but just not quite.
