Tasting Notes
Robert KarlssonLots of wood influence here, and a rather oppressive alcohol content. Water! Rounds of very nicely with a surprisingly small amount. Big on nice chocolate, dried fruits and fudge. Massive taste, so much wood influence. A bit rough, wildly peppery. Lots of dried fruits, cherry kernels. Dry, wooden aftertaste. A quite challenging but rewarding malt. Wait a little and it'll grow even more on you.
Krishna NukalaBrilliant smoke and phenols. Lots of dried fruits in the rear like raisins, figs, this is complex whisky. Much like sample no 72 (which turned out to be a W&M Bowmore), although very fiery- may be young aged high abv whisky, but brilliant. Leaves with an explosion in the mouth.( Blind tasting notes of MMA 2013)
