Oliver KlimekNose: Intense, the classic Lagavulin nose with smoked bacon and sherry - Palate: More peaty than you would expect from the nose. Strong sherry, needs some time in the glass, then it gets more complex - Finish: Rather sweet at the beginning and smoky at the end. - Overall: More sherry than the standard 16yo that is not quite reached
