| Craig Daniels | Nose: toffee, toffee, toffee, carob, fresh coffee beans, raisins, ovaltine granules, condensed milk
Palate: toffee with espresso coffee, more carob/chocolate, dry sherry in the back palate.
Finish: leather and drying sherry which hangs around.
Comment: interesting and complex but lacks some integration between the sherry and the toffee; the coffee and carob notes are fun to explore. |
| Oliver Klimek | Colour: Copper -
Nose: Prunes, orange zest, cocoa, christmas cake, hints of sandalwood. -
Palate: Orange marmalade, bittersweet chocolate, tea, hints of ginger and nutmeg. -
Finish: Long, fruity and dry with a herbal touch.
Overall: This is a rich sherried dram as could be expected of Dalmore, but for my taste it's a bit too much on the dry side to be fully enjoyable. |
