| Tasting Notes | |
| Oliver Klimek | Nose: Typically Laphroaig, peat, seaweed, medicin cabinet, but also hints of fruit - Palate: Peat and medicine team up with a slight sherry sweetness. With a bit (!) of water it gets slightly salty - Finish: Long, sweet and dry - Overall: The typical Laphoaig kick is there, but more tamed in comparison to the 10 yo CS. Don't use to much water! The sherry makes it an interesting variation from the standard, but it doesn't quite live up to it. |
