Tasting Notes
Robert KarlssonInitially excellent leathery notes. Then a fruity almost sugary vanilla. Big black smoke, tar. Quite superb and exciting. Licorice. Whoa. Tastewise in full balance with the very complex nose. Fruits, yet dry, smoke. Excellent balance. So moreish.
Rich Howard(this was a fresh crack of a full bottle.) the broad strokes: burnt caramel, toasted marshmallow, cigar box, big lemon, field grasses, organic salad greens, light lemon rind, butter and cinnamon. with water, a sweet maltiness emerges, with pie crust, more burnt caramel, vanilla creme, deep notes of unsweetened cocoa, traces of phenols and iodine, whiffs of furniture polish, gauze, and just a hint of smoke persists. like the 9th Release, another wow...
