| Tasting Notes | |
| Craig Daniels | Nose: raisins and sherry, tarry jam, creaming soda (vanilla), BBQ pineapple, almondine, fig & almond jam. Palate: tarry jam and sherry, caramel creme. Finish: hazelnuts, almonds and fruitcake; strangely a little short. Comments; Nose is excellent and stays solid in the glass over 30 minutes. The palate and especially the finish are a little less impressive, but it's a great malt, just not as good as similarly aged malts bottled in the 1990s. |
