Tasting Notes
Robert KarlssonA special winey slightly sourly style. Some sulphur mixed in there too I believe. A big dark nose. Wowsie, the taste was considerably bigger than I thought. Mouthcoating, sherry-bombish but not strong. Figs, raisin juice. Aftertaste I get some sulphury style but it does not disturb (unusual). A very special one this, difficult to describe.
Krishna Nukalawell ripen oriental fruit like guava, some spices,, dry, round and more fruitiness on palate, spicy and complex, very smooth everlasting finish ( Blind tasting 2010 MMA)
Rich Howardjust full of deep, dark fruit, blackberry cough syrup, vanilla, liquorice, dark chocolate and just a hint of rubber (not unpleasant). water lightens the palate from stewed fruits to fruit punch, and adds definite notes of sour cherry. not unpleasant, but i'm going to recommend this one without water; after a few drops, the score drops below the 90's for me. [tasted blind for the 2010 Awards]
