| Tasting Notes |
| Robert Karlsson | Is that cheese? Perhaps, dairy products of the green kind. Special. Thick. Malty sweetness. Thick also in the taste. A round oily malty sweetness dominates. Some vanilla in there too, a simple and quite enjoyable affair. |
| Rich Howard | a fairly "dry" nose with hints oaked white wine, dry malt/oat cakes, and tart with plenty of lingering citrus notes. the palate is fairly sweet, mostly with lemon bars dusted with powdered sugar, with a dash of tart lemon citrus on the finish. water accents the oat cakes and tart lemon on the nose, and definitely accents the tart lemon on the palate, almost to the point of "sour lemon" candies. summary: a nice "lemon bar" dessert dram without water. be prepared for a tart finish, and add water at your own risk. | Oliver Klimek | Colour: Bright amber -
Nose: Freshly cut grass, vanilla, porridge, hints of raisins and cinnamon. -
Palate: Honey, raisins, vanilla, lemon zest, hints of ginger and pepper. -
Finish: Long, fruity and slightly spicy. -
Overall: The nose is a bit disappointing, but the whisky is nice and smooth on the palate. The sherry adds some depth. |
