| Craig Daniels | Nose: Musk candy, stone dust, icing sugar, floral pot pourri (lavender) then bitter leaves (mustard cress, rocket and endives), slight hint of tar. Palate: Honey and caramel along with forward phenols of the medical/hospital kind, medicinal bandages (elastoplast, bandaids) and iodine tincture then caramel and then bitter lemon along with caramel and dry mustard.
Finish: slightly weird mix of caramel and bandaids then more mustard and bitter cress.
Comment: Lots of attractive bits brought down by some weirdness in the end palate and finish. Much nicer early in the evaluation processs. |
