Tasting Notes
Robert KarlssonSomewhat dark maltiness in here. Gentle, but a bit on the grainy side of things. Hm. Milk chocolate! Quite unexpected indeed from the nose. The aftertaste is more on the malt however.
Craig DanielsNose: coconut cream, pina colada, cherries, white chocolate. Palate: sour cherries, dark chocolate, then a creaminess. Finish: creamy with light fruit bitters and more white chocolate.
Rich Howardolive oil, lightly salted nuts and heavily polished oak furniture, followed by some field grasses and hints of clover flower and clover honey. the palate follows suits, lightly herbal and savory, lightly sweet with vanilla and clover honey, a touch of lemon, and some polished wood on the finish. a drop of water opens up the more floral and grassy notes, and accents the fresh vanilla as well. the palate is a bit sweeter now as well, now with plenty of toasted spices and oak. summary: a grassy, slightly herbal dram with pleasant undercurrents of honey and vanilla... better without water.
