| Tasting Notes | |
| Robert Karlsson | Succulent exotic sweet fruits. Right down my lane. Cinnamon. Sweet and quite lovely. Tasty on the fruits. Some eucalyptys. Nice but perhaps a bit low in concentration. Still a good one. |
| Craig Daniels | Nose: Lots of toffee, carob, fudge, some fig and date fruit jam and a definite hint of smudge pot. Some interesting turkish delight chocolate and more sugarred figs and some marmalade. Palate: fruity and slightly earthy, then drying with charcoal. Finish: much more coal tar and charred paper. Comment: Interesting whisky; one that is earthier and peatier in the palate and the finish than in the nose. |
| Rich Howard | the nose offers up a bouquet of fresh apples, oranges and bananas with an undercurrent of dry, sweet malt, with some sweetened corn flakes on the tail. the palate is grainy and herbal, tart, actually a bit bitter, with none of the fruits from the nose. a drop of water accents the dry malty and vanilla notes on the nose, and the palate has some sweet vanilla now, but still with a bitter herbal finish. summary: the nose was fairly pleasant, but the palate is quite bitter.
