Tasting Notes
Craig DanielsNose: apricots and soot, honey and old hemp rope and a little fragile and febrile. Palate: tar, resin, smoked apricot jam, peanut brittle; more robust than the nose. Finish:smoky, metallic, refined and unfortunately underpowered. Comment: The finish lets it down and its a bit thin and watery in the tail, but the nose and palate keep one amused for quite a while. I don't detect OBE although the rope in the nose might be indicative. I love the fragility and delicacy.
