| Tasting Notes | |
| Robert Karlsson | Thick massive vanilla mixed in with an equally potent smokiness. Add some ocean beach to that. Taste in full balance with the intriguing nose. This is a dram packed full of attractive coastal notes. |
| Ho-cheng Yao | Light yellow color, straw. heavily peated.very smoky. citrus and lemon. Light body, malty sweet palate. quite nice finish. easy but balance one. comparing more oily than othe Kilchoman. A very nice version. I like it. |
| Oliver Klimek | Colour: Pale straw - Nose: Rather light smoke, some farmy whiffs, vanilla, pineapple, hints of nuts, hints of ginger and pepper. - Palate: Peat, vanilla, hints of porridge and fudge, lemon zest, ginger, hints of nutmeg and pepper. - Finish: Long, smoky and slightly dry. - Overall: This malt is very light in character and quite different from the Machir Bay. A good dram but it takes some effort to taste the flavours beyond the comparatively mild peat |
