Tasting Notes
Robert KarlssonVery evident raisin of the sweeter kind. Also grainy notes under the fruit. Raisin again and pears. Wildly peppery and malty. Less wild with a dash of water. Kind of non-exciting one could say.
Oliver KlimekColour: Copper - Nose: Dried figs, raisins, dark chocolate, hints of tobacco and nutmeg. - Palate: A tipsy cocktail of raisins, grapes and prunes on dark chocolate ice cream served with a strong espresso. - Finish: Very long, fruity and slightly dry. - Overall: This is not just a sherried whisky, this is a sherry whisky. I feel almost tempted to describe it as a 46% ABV oloroso but the whisky character is fully intact nonetheless.
