| Tasting Notes | |
| Craig Daniels | Medium umber brown. Nose has sweet notes (honey, malt, caramac) along with some spent firecrackers and old cardboard after about 20". Palate is quite spicy (ginger and szechuan pepper), pleasantly nutty with a dry sherry and chocolate back palate. Finish is slightly oily with more dry sherry, some bitter herbs (rocket, endive), with building leather and weathered wood. Pleasant and fine but there are some flat and faintly unpleasant notes in the nose and finish. |
