| Rich Howard | iodine, gauze bandage, big vanilla (even some "candy cigarettes" in there), fields of fresh summer strawberries (complete with greens) and cream, wet stones, paint thinner, dry leaves in fall, strawberry jam and toast, fresh velvet, mineral water... drying and austere. with water things get slightly bitter, adding fall leaves, black dirt, salad greens with balsamic vinegar, with a light smokiness. a little more water, and it begins to sweeten with notes of butter and buttercream frosting, and just the smallest floral hint of violet. wow... |
